摘要
本文根据当前计算机技术的新发展,特别是在网络信息表达技术和海量数据的获取与存储调度技术的最新发展的技术上,来设计面向Web的网络三维GIS。针对新型GIS系统设计中存在的问题,结合相关技术的最新发展趋势,提出了构建网络三维GIS的初步解决方案,并设计实现了区域网路三维GIS系统的原型。这些初步的探索,为开发有着丰富功能,完全开放的大型网络三维GIS系统提供了新的途径。
With the development of the computer graphics technology and Internet, a new kind of Geographical Information System, Web3DGIS, which is based on the traditional multi-dimensional Geographical Information System, is emerging. Web3DGIS extends the application of GIS, at the same time, brings new problems to the GIS design. In the paper, a design of the web-oriented 3DGIS is presented based on the late developments of computer science, especially the technology to represent information on Internet and the technology of processing huge amount of data. In the design, many kinds of information are represented and transferred on the Internet based on Extendable Markup Language （XML）, and the Virtual Reality of the 3D data is set up based on Extensible 3D（X3D）. With the integration of these computer technologies, a new way to build a Web-oriented 3DGIS, which has plentiful functions and totally open system architecture, is presented.
