Large single crystal of (C2H10N2)0.5 CoPO4 with novel open-framework structure was synthesized from non-aqueous system with ethylene glycol as the solvent.The crystal structure was solved by heavy atomic method and the crystal is monoclinic,space group P2/n with α=1. 0410 (1) nm,b=0. 8947 (1) nm,c=1. 0414 (1) nm,β=90. 085°,V=0.970 02 (12) nm3,Z=4,Dc=1. 832 mg·cm-3,R=0.063.
