摘要
隐喻的本质就是用一种事物理解和体验另一种事物,所以隐喻是两个认知领域的语义互动。本文运用认知学理论分析了隐喻的三个基本特征,在此基础上探讨了隐喻的翻译原则以及翻译技法:1.保留原喻体形象;2.喻体形象转换;3.舍弃形象只译喻义。
Metaphor＇s essence is to comprehend and experience one thing through another. Therefore, metaphor is the semantic interaction of the two cognitional fields. There are three essential factors in metaphor： tenor, vehicle and ground. On the basis of the analysis of the three features of metaphor, this article makes researches on the fundamental principles and skills of metaphor translation such as reservation of original images, conversion of images and abandonment of images.
