摘要
介绍了无线局域网及流媒体技术的网络传输特点和技术,给出了基于架构式(In-frastructure)无线局域网的流媒体技术的设计与应用方案,认为随着网络带宽的增加,适应流式应用的多媒体编码和解码技术的不断发展,流媒体技术在无线局域网和Internet上的应用必将跨入一个新阶段。
This paper introduces the characteristic and technology about WLAN and streaming media transportation. Based on infrastructure of WLAN, it presents a scheme for designing and implementing streaming media technology. It is concluded that along with network bandwidth extending and multimedia encoding and decoding technology developing constantly, streaming media technology applied in WLAN and Intemet will come into a new stage.
