摘要
ＴＡＴＡｂｏｘ结合蛋白质（ＴＢＰ）是ＲＮＡ聚合酶Ⅱ转录因子ＴＦⅡＤ的组成成分，它可与ＤＮＡ序列上游区的ＴＡＴＡｂｏｘ元件特异地结合．对ＴＢＰ及ＴＡＴＡｂｏｘ－ＴＢＰ复合物的三维结构进行扼要的介绍，探讨其在起始转录过程中所起的作用．
TATA box binding protein (TBP),a component of RNA polymerase Ⅱtranscriptional factor TFⅡD, binds to TATA box specifically. The co-crystal structure of TBP/TATA-box complex is introduced and its role in the initiation of transcription is discussed.
