摘要
探讨了基于关系数据库系统的扩展关系模型的建立，具有统计数据、图形、图象等多种类型的图文数据的存储管理，多种专题图的图形数据组织方法，分布式系统环境下通信方式的实现和数据库操作的并行分布处理等问题，最后建立了分布式图文数据库管理系统ＤＧＲＤＢＭＳ．
Discussed in this paper are the extended relation data model,the storage management of multi-type GR data including geogaphic data of multi-type map features,the implementation of net -communication and the parallel distributed processing of DB operations in DGRDBMS,which has been sucessfully used in Globe Physical Exploring Information System.
