摘要
CORDIC作为一种计算三角函数的向量旋转的迭代算法,其硬件结构简单,易于并行化处理和VLSI实现,因而在实时信号处理方面有广泛的应用前景。本文提出了一种改进的混合预测CORDIC算法。该算法利用混合预测方法的设计思想,讨论了在具体数据格式下,混合角度集中间值的确定,并给出了算法的实现结构。由分析结果证明此算法具有高运算速度与低资源的优势,在结构上较传统冗余CORDIC算法节省近60%的冗余符号判别运算。
The CORDIC algorithm is well known as an efficient method for the computation of trigonometric functions and vector rotation. This paper imtroduces a improved redunant CORDIC arithmetic based on hybrid prediction. The arithmetic use hybrid prediction design method, discuss the middle value of hybrid angle group under the concrete data format, and present the realization configuration of arithmetic. Analysis result prove this arithmetic have a obvious advantage of high operation speed and low resource, the configuration can save about 60% operation of redundant sign distinguish toward traditional redundant CORDIC arithmetic.
