摘要
借用认知语法的基本观点分析了英汉语名词短语的认知结构。英汉语名词短语在实际的句法实现中有共性也有个性。共性主要表现在类型的本质规定性,概念结构成分的可选策略,概念结构成分的内部和谐和动作过程与名词短语的交互关系。个性主要表现在类型的投射模式,射体和地标的具体句法实现形式和名词短语的侧重特点。
This paper first examines the conceptual structure of English and Chinese noun phrases, and then explores their universals and peculiarities in syntactic realizations. Through careful analysis, the present paper argues that English and Chinese noun phrases share a lot in terms of type specification, optional elements embodied in conceptual structure, internal harmony and the inherent interactive relationship of government while noun phrases of these two languages differ in mapping patterns, specific syntactic realizations and their profiling characteristics.
