摘要
波德里亚的消费社会理论已成为国内批判性理解消费社会的理论基础,但他不是从对社会体制的合法性及其规范论证的角度去讨论消费社会,而是从符号学的经验分析和人的本真性诉求去批判消费社会。这样的思想样式注定了他对消费社会的否定是非法理性的;他对消费社会的批判是传统批判理论之审美主义批判的延续和变种。鉴于审美主义批判已在国内的思想界演变成为一种阻碍社会理性批判的文化氛围,应谨慎对待波德里亚并进而廓清他在国内思想界的影响。
Jean Baudrillard's theory has become a foundation of critical understanding of the consumer society in China. However, Baudrillard did not discuss the consumer society in terms of the legitimacy of its system or the logic of normative demonstration, but criticized it out of the practical analyses of semeiotics and the appeal to human authenticity. This approach determines that his negation of the consumer society is not from legal principle, that his criticism of the consumer society is the continuity and the variety of the aesthetic criticism of the traditional critical theories. Since the aesthetic criticism has formed the cultural mood which obstructs the criticism of the social reason in the theoretical circle within China, this article argues that we should deal with Baudrillard's theory cautiously and make clear of his influence on this circle.
