The Latest Development of WiMAX

摘要 概述了WiMAX的发展现状。从固定无线接入空中接口、移动无线接入空中接口以及管理平面相关的标准等方面介绍了IEEE 802.16 标准的最新进展情况。进一步阐明了WiMAX的工作重点,包括认证规范与网络规范。 This article firstly summarizes the status quo of WiMAX. Then it introduces the latest development of IEEE 802.16 standard in terms of air interface for fixed wireless access, air interface for mobile wireless access end management -related standards. At last. it gives a further description on the major work of WiMAX, including authentication specification and network specification.
