摘要
现代社会中运动竞赛的发展已超出了它原有的含义,和政治、经济、艺术、教育等联系在一起,在人类社会生活与文明进步中发挥着作用。论述了运动竞赛的社会效益:促进社会稳定与发展,为社会提供规范的竞争范式、使人们形成良好的竞争意识,丰富社会文化生活,推动体育文化的传播与发展等。
The development of sports competitions in the modern society has gone beyond its original meaning, which has linked with politics, economy, art, education etc., and played a role in the hmnan social＇life and progress in civilization. It expounded the following social benefit of sports competitions： promoting social stability and development, providing society with the model of normal competitions, making people form good competitive consciousness, enriching social cultural life, pushing forward the propagation and development of sports culture and so forth.
