摘要
按照动物科学中的若干基础学科（系统动物学和动物地理学、动物形态学、动物生理学、动物生态学、动物行为学、保护生物学、发育生物学）简要介绍了其研究现状和发展趋势，提出了我国动物科学短期发展战略的设想，并为达此目标建议国家应重点支持１２项研究课题。
