摘要
从科技编辑工作、科技编辑者的自身发展和科技编辑对人才的培养三个方面的要求，论述了科技编辑必须具备科技写作知识和能力的必要性，指出科技写作应成为科技编辑的一项基本素养．
n this article, the necessity of having knowledge and ability of writing articles of science and technology for an editor is discussed, in order to meet the requirementS of the present work, the self development and the cultivation of the editors on science and technology.
