复合材料混合型层间断裂韧性及失效判据 被引量:2

On Better Test Method of Determining Mixed-Mode Interlaminar Fracture Toughness for Composite Materials

摘要 提出了一种新的混合型分层试验方法,用于测定复合材料层压板Ⅰ型和Ⅱ型混合的层问断裂韧性.在预制的分层中放置铰链,形成双悬壁梁Ⅰ型加载方式,再用三点挠曲试验增加Ⅱ型载荷.当分层扩展时,混合型临界应变能释放率分量GⅠm和GⅡm随着变化,GⅠ减小GⅡm增大.在实验基础上,建立了混合型分层失效判据,为复合材料结构设计提供依据. Reeder et al in 1990L3) and Kiriloch et al in 1993[5] presented bending methods for determination of mixed - mode interlaminar fracture toughness of composites' We deem thattheir methods are complicated and require many specimens. We now present a much simplermethod that requires far less specimens.The apparatus used by Reeder and Later by Kinloch is complicated. We made an apparatus like theirs and found it both complicated and costly. Moreover using this type of test apparatus led to ratheer big dispersion in test results. Then we try a different way. Our testset- up is as shown in Fig. 5. For each specimen we obtain several mixed- mode interlaminarfracture toughnesses corresponding to different ratios between mode Ⅰ loading and mode Ⅱloading. In Reeder's tests one specimen gives only one fracture toughness for a abed ratiobetween mode Ⅰ loading and mode Ⅱ loading. Thus this simple testapparatus requires lesstest specimens. Moreover, dispersion is considerably less in our test results' Our testmethod has been demonstrated by measuring the mixed- mode interlaminar fracture toughness of carbon- fibre/bismaleimide - resin laminates。 The test results show that our testmethod is indeed appropriate and useful.
