摘要
寻根文学无疑是20世纪80年代中期的一朵文坛奇葩,它是对传统的话语模式和写作方式的一次有力反动。然而,寻根文学自身的悖论又使它陷入了自我拆解的文化困境。命名的无边和混淆、对传统的眷念和批判以及对政治的疏远和回归,都决定了寻根文学的存在是昙花式的匆匆一现。寻根文学从出现的那一天起,“寻根的希冀”就和“失根的苦痛”交相融合、不可分离,盛极一时、如日中天的寻根文学必然无可奈何地走向偃旗息鼓、难以为继。
The mid 1980s witnesses the blossom of the root- seeking literature, which is a powerful revolt against the traditional writing and discourse model. However, due to its inherent paradox the root - seeking literature finds itself in the cultural predicament of self- deconstruction. The infinite confusing naming, the nostalgia for and the criticism against tradition, and the alienation from and the turning to politics, all these factors determine the ephemeral destiny of the root - seeking literature. Since the root - seeking literature came into being, ＂the wish for seeking the root＂and＂the woe of losing the root＂has been interwoven inseparably. Therefore,the grand and glorious root- seeking literature is doomed to fall and fail.
