摘要
研制了一种刚性岩石平面应变实验装置,其自行设计制作的侧向加力器不仅能施加需要的围压,而且能在实验过程中动态监控围压的变化.测试表明,对杨氏模量在17.4 GPa以下的岩石,该装置能较好地模拟平面应变的条件,具有较好的实用性.
A plane - strain apparatus for investigating the deformation and failure features of rock was altered and constructed on a passive stiff-frame concept, further, a new device inducing confinement on both sides of the prism specimen was designed and built, which can not only impose varying confining pressure on the specimen, but dynamically monitor the change in confinement due to deformation of the specimen during testing. Theoretical analysis and test results show that for rock specimens with Youngt modulus below 17.4 GPa, the apparatus can provide an acceptable planestrain condition and be of practicability.
