This article introduces the operation principle of the Venturi fertilizer applicator in detail, and designs its structure, and identifies parameters according to performance requirement in practical use and the related formula. The applicator is tested with the flow rate, concentration, and the relation between the ratio of inlet and outlet pressures and concentration as measuring parameters, and its performance is analyzed according to the result of test. Through the test, it is found that the ratio of inlet and outlet pressures has fixed relations with the concentration for the Venturi fertilizer applicator with definite structure. The user can adjust the fertilizer concentration according to the offered graph accurately, which makes the application easier than other Venturi fertilizer applicators. This article specifies installing, application methods and precaution. The fertilizers applicator series have the characteristic： simple structure, low cost, no movement part, and no need to have pressure vessel to store fertilizer liquid. Besides, the series have the merits of steady fertilizer application concentration, no need to put on extra-power, easy to operate. Therefore, it can meet the requirements of irrigation system of large-scale, medium and small-scale.
