一种高效的网络故障监测算法研究

摘要 在文献[1]的基础上提出了一种改进的网络监测算法。通过前向补偿,在没有发生报警的情况下,能够推迟发trap的时间。与文献[1]的算法相比,在不漏报的前提下,本文提出的算法能够极大地减少监控的通信量,算法的性能分析表明,提出的监测算法有效地减少了trap的次数,降低了管理信息占用的带宽,提高网络的性能。 This paper presennts an irnproved algorithm for network monitor based on the algorithm proposed by Dilrnan et al. in [1]. By using pre- compensation, the improved algorithm prolongs the trap time when no alarm could occur. This method reduces the amount of monitoring traffic further than the method in [ 1 ], and still guarantees to detect the alarm. The algorithm analyses show that the improved monitoring scheme reduces both the number of polling and the cost of the network mamagement, consequently improvesthe network performance.
