概念隐喻在外语教学中的应用

Application of Conceptual Metaphor to EFL Teaching

摘要 概念隐喻是始发域到目标域的映射,基于人们经验的共现。文章认为,隐喻的教学功能体现在外语教学中隐喻能够利用教师与学生之间共有的经验基础,在教师的理性知识与学生的知识之间建立起沟通的桥梁,从而提高学习者对一些关键概念、模式和问题的认知自觉性,同时也能提高教师使用的隐喻意识,促使他们调整思维模式,反思教学中出现的偏差。 Conceptual metaphor is projection from the source domain to the target domain via correlation of bodily experience. The present paper discusses its application to EFL teaching, highlighting its significance and benefits.
