摘要
研究了SiC-WC复合陶瓷的热压烧结行为与主要力学性能及断裂方式。5Vo1%~25Vol%WC粒子的加入,促进了烧结体的致密化速率,提高了抗弯强度与断裂韧性。断口形貌分析表明,SiC基质以晶界断裂为主。WC粒子通过促使裂纹偏转机理而使烧结体的力学性能得以改善。
Abstract In this paper, the sintering behaviour of hot-pressed SiC-WC ceramic composites and their mechanical properties,as well as the fracture mode have been studied.The densification rate of sintered bodies,the fie-cural strength and the fracture toughness of the composites were improved with the addition of 5vo1%-25vo1% WC particles.The microstructural observations revealed the main intergranular fracture mode of SiC matrix.The present composites have been reinforced and toughened by WC particles with the crack-deflection mechanism.
