2005年,中国石油工业积极应对国内外宏观环境和市场环境变化,充分发挥上下游一体化的优势,克服成品油价格严重倒挂、市场供需波动巨大带来的困难,基本满足了国内市场对石油及其产品的需求,各项主要经济指标再创历史新高,为保障国民经济发展和国家石油安全做出了重要贡献。三大国家石油公司和其他石油石化企业抓住高油价的历史机遇,致力于缓解国内油气供需矛盾,加大国内油气资源的勘探开发力度,实现了油气储量较大幅度的增长和油气产量的稳中有升。全年全国共生产原油1.8亿吨,同比增长3.9%;生产天然气499.5亿立方米,同比增长21.9%;加工原油2.86亿吨,同比增加1758万吨,增长6.5%。一批大型原油、天然气、成品油管道项目建成或即将建成。国际业务实现了由单一合作开采向跨国并购、风险勘探和上下游一体化的跨越。管理体制机制创新取得重要进展,专业化重组持续深入。科技进步亮点频现,为实现可持续发展提供了有力的技术支撑。
By actively responding to the changes in the macroenvironment and market conditions both at home and abroad, andthrough sustained efforts to exploit the integration of its upper-stream and downstreams egments, and conquer the difficultiesBcaused by the lower domestic oil product prices than crude oilprices, China's petroleum industry continued its impressiveperformance throughout 2005, thereby satisfying the domesticmarket demand for oil products, pushing major businessindicators to an all-time high, and fulfilling a larger role inboosting the national economic growth and ensuring nationaloil security. By capitalizing on the high oil price in 2005, thethree national petroleum corporations, along with other oilbusinesses, did a great job in narrowing the widening gapbetween oil and gas supply and demand, increasing the effortsfor exploration and development of domestic oil and gasresources, and realizing a considerable rise in the oil/gasreserves through a steady climb in their production. In 2005,China produced 180 million tons of crude oil (increasing by3.9% on a year-on-year basis) and 49.95 billion cubic metersof natural gas (increasing 21.9% over that in 2004), andprocessed 286 million tons of crude oil, increasing by 17.58million tons, or 6.5% when compared with 2004. 2005 alsosaw the completion, or near completion, of a legion of crudeoil, natural gas and oil product pipeline projects. And theinternational business conducted by domestic oil companiesexpanded from cooperative oil exploration to transnationalacquisition, risk exploration and upstream and downstreamsegment integration. Great breakthroughs in innovation inmanagement and specialized reorganization of oil servicecompanies, coupled with the robust technological progress,are setting the stage for the realization of sustainabledevelopment in China.
