摘要
指定信源域间组播SSM主要是为了解决域间组播地址变化问题而提出的,它有效地解决了ASM域间组播路由的复杂性,并具有更好的会话完整性和安全性,但仍然面临严重的状态可扩展性问题。分析了SSM中的可扩展性问题,在此基础上就SSM中转发状态的可扩展性问题,提出了一种采用分枝节点算法的改进的SSM协议,可以提高SSM协议的可扩展性,描述了工作原理,并基于NS-2进行了性能评估。
Source-specific multicast (SSM) is an alternative to the traditional Any-source multicast (ASM), which effectively avoids the complexity of inter-domain multicast routing and provides additional benefits in terms of session integrity and security. But SSM still confronts the serious state scalability problem. The scalability of SSM is analyzed. About the state scalability problem of SSM, a solution of adopting non-branching algorithm is presented, its principles are described and 1 its capabilities based on NS-2 are evaluated.
