摘要
基督教信仰是哥特式教堂建筑艺术风格的灵魂。哥特式教堂为了这种信仰而建造,同时也是为了这种信仰而存在。石材与玻璃在教堂的整体结构中组成了一种和谐,石头和玻璃的材质美组合在一起,构成了教堂的形式美,形式美又寓意了基督教信仰。哥特式教堂建筑的目的不在于建筑的本身,而在于其中所蕴藏的基督教的思想和信仰。信仰与材质,信仰与建筑构成了一种平衡,它既是为了追求这种平衡而诞生的,也是因为这一平衡的丧失而没落的。
Christian belief is the soul of the Gothic artistic style. Stone material and glass take into shape of a harmony, which is not only a formative beauty, but also implies the Christian meanings. Belief and material quality, belief and architecture have formed a kind of balance. It not only had been born to pursue this balance, but also had fallen down because of the loss of this balance.
