摘要
中医学是中国人民几千年来在防病治病和与疾病作斗争的过程中的经验总结,中医眼科是祖国医学的一个重要组成部分。众所周知,在中国乃至世界其他国家和地区,中医药在防治眼病方面作出了巨大贡献。中医眼科的形成和发展与整个医学的发展及社会科学技术的进步有着密切的联系。科学的发展和技术的进步极大地推动了中医眼科现代化的进程,中医眼科现代化主要表现在基础理论、临床诊断和治疗三方面。
Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） is a long time experience accumulation of our nations by preventing, treating and struggling with diseases or disorders. Chinese ophthalmology （CO）, or traditional ophthalmology in China, is an important part of TCM.The specialized medicine for the eye and vision has made great contribution as known to the prevention and treaunent of eye diseases in China and other countries and areas of the world. The origin and development are closely related to that of the traditional medicine as well as science and technology.The progress of science and technology, in other words, greatly promote the traditional ophthalmology in China being updated with time going on. Cm＇rently the modernization is manifested in the fundamental theory, clinical diagnosis and therapies of ocular diseases, which is summarized herein.
