摘要
从１９８３～１９９４年，我科应用Ｈａｒｒｉｎｇｔｏｎ器械治疗脊柱侧弯２１０例，其中有各种并发症和手术失误３２例，其中有脱钩１１例，断棒７例，融合失败４例，不同种类的感染７例，脊髓功能障碍２例，气胸１例。失误和并发症除与病人年龄及畸形严重程度有关外，术中及术后处理有一些技术上的问题，本文初步探讨了其原因和防治方法。
From 1983 to 1994, 210 cases of scoliosis were treated in this department using Harrington instrumentation.Failures and complications occurred in 32 cases, including hook dislodgement in 11 cases,rod fracture in 7 cases,failures of fusion in 4 cases,infection in 7 cases, pneumothorax in 1 cases,and spinal cord functional impairment in 2 cases.Severity of the deformities and patient's age were the chief factors leading to complications and failures,however,some technical errors were also important factors.
