Hydropower Development and Hydraulic Research on Yangtze' Upper Reach

摘要 简介了长江上游水力资源开发近景和葛洲坝工程水力学研究的有代表性的原型观测及其对三峡工程等的借鉴意义。宜昌以上的长江上游可开发的水力资源约170GW装机容量,占全国总量的45%,国家近期重点开发的12个大型水力发电基地有5个在长江上游。这里的工程都要涉及水力学研究的诸多方面。葛洲坝工程建成后正在积累运行经验;245m坝高的雅垄江二滩工程已开始浇筑坝身混凝土;三峡工程开工后正通过科学研究继续优化主体建筑物建设方案;30年内一系列180~275m的高坝和100~1500万kW装机容量的大电站将在长江上游兴建。这些情况将继续影响我国有关水力学研究的发展。 The exploitable hydropower potential in the upper Yangtze basin amounts to 170GW generation capacity, or the nation's 45%; five of the nation's twelve hydropower bases planned for development in near future are in this area. All large projects here involve a variety of hydraulic aspects. Prototype engineering experiences are being accumulated at the completed Gezhouba Project for more than 14 years; the concrete work of the 245m high arch dam was begun recently at the Ertan Project on the Yalongjiang river; the construction program of major structures of the Three Gorges Project is being optimized through incessant scientific researches; a series of 180 ̄275m high dams and 1 ̄15GW large hydropower stations will be consturcted within coming 30 years in the upper Yangtze basin. Such magnificent prospects boost the development of hydraulic research in China. A briefing of the Yangtze's upper basin hydropower devel opment is presented in this paper along with some peculiarities of relevant hydraulic research. Prototype hydraulic observations at the Gezhouba Project are introduced and the significance of prototype investiga tion and studies as convincing reference and touchstones in hydraulic research has been stressed.
