摘要
广西球粘土为第四纪大型矿床，主要由无序高岭石组成。粒度细－2μm＞85％，可塑性指数36～47。铝高铁低，耐火度高，烧结范围宽，耐压强度大，荷重软化点高，是我国耐火材料用最好的结合粘土。
Guangxi ball clay is large scale in deposit Quaternary period, mainly consisted of disordered kaolinite with grain size under 2μm(>85% ). The plasticity is very fine(index 36~47). High in Al and low in Fe, with high refractory degree, wide binding scope, large pressureproof strength, high loaded soft point,now it is the best binding clay for refractory in China.
