1996年2月3在云南省丽江发生7.0级强烈地震,波及4个少数民族地区,受灾人口约100万,其中重灾民达30多万,给当地人民群众的生命财产造成巨大损失。该文概述了这次地震情况,内容包括:震源参数、震灾情况、救援情况、国际社会援助情况以及地震趋势。
On February 3,1996,a strong earthquake of M 7 attacked Lijing County,Yunnan Province, affecting four minority nationality regions.About one million inhabitants were stricken,and more than thirty thousand of them were stricken seriously,the local people suffered great losses in lives and property.The authors of this paper depict the earthquake,including the seismic source parameters,earthquake damage,disaster relief and rescue,support of international com- munities and the quake trend.
