24个桃品种的绿枝和硬枝扦插均可不同程度地生根,其生根率为1%～99%,硬枝插适宜生根温度为17%左右,用 IBA750～3000ppm 速蘸插枝基部效果较好。硬枝扦插时以熔化的石蜡,封住插穗,生根率极显著地高于不封蜡。
Rooting softwood and hardwood cuttings of 24 cultivars of peach,under mist in the summer of 1986,and by bottom heating in the autumn, was successful.The latter was better than those under mist,probably because the temperature of the medium in the autumn,ranged about 17.1℃,was lower than those in the summer,ranged about 24.5℃.Use of 1000～3000 ppm IBA in 50 per cent alcohol as a quick dip was beneficial.Growth of trees grown from cuttings over two-year period has been as satisfactory as that of seedlings or budded trees.
