摘要
本文根据极大似然法推求统计参数的理论，提出在推求城市暴雨强度公式时可以采用极大似然法计算皮尔逊Ⅲ型分布统计参数的方法，经推求浙江省暴雨强度公式的实践检验，证明该方法是可行的．
The method of seeking for the statistical parameters of Pearson Ⅲ (P- Ⅲ ) distribution with maximal likelihood method (M -L)is recommended to ascertain the urban storm intensity formula. Based on the theory of maximal likelihood method the statistical parameters may be determined. This method is proved to be feasible, according to the practice of ascertaining urban storm intensity formula in Zhejiang province, China.
