摘要
随着计算机网络的发展,路由器的功能已经从简单的发送向提供灵活的集成服务和区分服务发展,这些都对路由器的硬件和软件体系结构提出了更高的要求。本文讨论一种基于IXP2400网络处理器的安全路由器的设计方案,该方案可以提高网络处理器体系结构活灵性和强大的处理能力,将可编程能力和ASIC的处理能力有机的结合在一起,达到智能化、研发周期短、系统容易升级的目的。
With the development of internet , the function of router extended from simple data sending to integrated service and differentiate service which requires router to meet it from hardware and software. In this paper the schema of safety router was present, It can enhance network processor＇s flexibility and efficiency through combined programmable and ASIC ability so that the processor can be developed in short time , and at the same time it makes the processor intellectualized and easy to be upgraded.
