摘要
研究了连续线偏振光在胆甾型液晶中传播时偏振态的变化,推导出描述其变化的解析表达式.当脉冲宽度短于10-(14)s的超短偏振光脉冲通过足够长的胆甾型液晶后,其主频谱的半宽度受到压缩,并且傍带幅度受到明显的压制.
The change of polarization characteristics of linearly polarized light propagating in cholesteric liquid crystal is studied. Analytical expressions to describe the changes are derived. it is shown that the half width of main frequency spectrum will be compressed and the amplitudes,of the edeband will be obviously suppressed,when a polarized optical pulse with duration We shorter than 10E-14 seconds passes through a long enough cholesteric liquid crystal.
