摘要
思维模式的差异是造成语言差异的一个重要因素。对比英汉民族不同思维模式,说明在该两种不同思维模式的影响下,英汉两种语言表达在词语选择、句式结构、修辞方法、谋篇布局、语体风格和语法规律等方面都有着不同的基本规律。
Differences in thinking are the chief elements that bring about the disparity in languages. This paper aims at making comparative studies of English and Chinese from a point of thinking and language. Contrasts indicate the disparity in diction, basic structure, rhetoric, paragraph, style and grammar between the English and the Chinese languages.
