摘要
随着我国教育体制改革、高校的合并与扩招而引发的新校区建设,给高校图书馆建设带来了新的机遇,高校中由此掀起了一轮图书馆建设的新高潮。然而,从近些年来我国高校新建图书馆馆舍的情况看,新馆建筑中存在的忽略节约性和实用性问题越来越严重,新馆建筑的面积越来越大,设计越来越豪华,设施越来越先进。因此,新馆建筑在集科学技术、文化教育、信息传播、民族特色于一体,成为各个学校的标志性建筑的同时,应以科学发展观为指导,走可持续发展之路,崇尚人性化设计,走出“大”的迷失,彰显图书馆文化底蕴。
With the educational reform, merging and expansion of universities and colleges in China, quite a number of universities and colleges have moved to new campus, which brought opportunities for them to build new libraries. However, this paper points out that thrift and practicality were overlooked in the construction of new libraries. The trend is that libraries are larger and larger, the design becomes more and more modem and so are the facilities. As the symbol of the universities and colleges, new libraries are the combination of modern science and technology, culture and education, information and ethnical features. As reader-oriented academic institutions serving the teaching and scientific research ,and preserving human cultural and historical heritages ,and spreading science and technology as well, libraries should have a strong sense of development, sustainability and humane design in the designing and construction to develop and make the most of the culture of libraries.
