摘要
作为儒家经典的《四书》,包含了儒家伦理思想体系中占有核心地位的中庸的本质——“时中”。“时中”具有道德标准、道德方法、道德理想三层内涵,经由孔子到孟子的发展,其既是“内圣外王”的道德理想,又是具体行动的道德原则,“好问”、“好察”、“隐恶而扬善”、“执其两端用其中”是行“时中”之步骤,行“权”据“义”是行“时中”之原则。在和谐社会伦理道德建设中“,时中”是可资挖掘、运用的宝贵传统伦理资源。
In Si Shu （Four Confucian Classics ）, ＂Timely The-Mean＂ is the essence of the Mean which is the core of the Confucian ethical system;it has three levels of connotation： moral standard ,moral method, as moral ideal. Nowadays, ＂Timely The-Mean＂ should be precious ethical resources to supply for moral construction of harmonious society.
