This paper expounds the functions and common forms of the vertical greening, introduces in detail the features and conservation of the major climbing plants for the vertical greening, and points out that making full use of the various forms of the climbing plants to develop the vertical greening vigorously possesses important significance for improving the urban environment and recovering ecological balance.
