摘要
通过对甘东南及其邻区历史中强地震活动特征和1980年以来的地震活动性异常的分析,认为甘东南地区2004年3月4日玛曲4.8级、8月26日礼县4.5级、9月7日岷县5.0级地震和2003年11月13日的岷县5.2级地震,可能都属于新一轮地震活动的组成部分,是未来发生强震的前奏,表明甘东南及其邻区近年来正在孕育一个6级左右乃至更大的地震。
Through the study on the characteristics of historical moderate-strong earthquakes and seismic activity anomalies from 1980＇s in southeat of Gansu province and its neighboring area, It is considered that earthquakes of Maqu Ms4.8（4 March, 2004）, Lixian Ms4. 5 （26 August, 2004）, Minxian Ms5.0（7 September,2004） and Minxian Ms5.2 （13 November,2003） are all the members of a new earthquake group. They may indicate that a Ms6.0 or even a larger earth- quake is going to conceived in southeast of Gansu province and its neighboring areas.
