摘要
本文从实用转向的发端形式与功能的抉取,实用转向的散射边缘语言学家对语言的关注和话语研究的滥觞,实用转向的依归批评语言学的萌发与批判话语分析的勃兴等方面,分析现代语言研究呈现出一种经世致用的价值取向。而批判话语分析的勃兴正是语言研究实用转向的必然产物,也是人们需求语言研究要以人为本、真正服务于社会服务于人的表现。
The advancement of language study, from the picking and choosing between formalism and functionalism to the concern of social theorists about language till the arising of Critical Discourse Analysis, is intrinsically a representation of value orientation towards pragmatism; while the blooming of Critical Discourse Analysis is the certain product of the pragmatic turn of language study as well as the authentic embodiment of the requirement in which language study ought to serve the society and people in the society, thereby, to make real the ultimate care for the human being in the study of language. The paper is mainly divided into three sections. Section one is about the signs of practical turn in language study —— ＂pick and choose＂ between formalism and functionalism; section two deals with the scattering of pragmatism in language study —— the concern of social theorists about discourse; section three explores the resort of humanistic pragmatism in the study of language the emergence and prosperity of Critical Discourse Analysis.
