摘要
文章对城市化的定义进行了系统的概括、梳理和评论,并概括比较了众多学者对乡村城市化的论述。文章认为,学术界对城市化的界定大致经历了从传统型定义到现代型定义,再发展到后现代型定义的过程。这一嬗变反映了人们从关注经济的发展到重视生活方式的转变和文明变迁,从强调城区的集中建设到主张都市带的协调发展,从强调城市工业文明取代乡村农业文明到主张城乡文明相融合等等的思路历程。
This paper makes a summary of the definitions of urbanization and makes a comparison of the study of urbanization of the rural areas. According to the categorization of this paper, the definitions of all kinds can be sorted into three types： Traditional Type, Modern Type and Post-modern Type. The evolution of these definitions represents the transformation from the concern about economic devclopment to the concern about life style, from the emphasis of industrial centralization to the argument of regional growth, from the attention to the diffusion of urban civilization to the integration of urban ＆. rural civilizations.
