摘要
构建社会主义和谐社会是党在新时期提出的一项重大任务。义务教育具有基础性、全局性、先导性的特征,义务教育公平是实现社会公平的前提。努力地促进义务教育的公平关系到国家教育体系的良性运行和均衡发展,关系到社会主义和谐社会的建设。对目前我国基础教育中仍然存在的不公平问题,政府应提供相应的公共服务,为促进义务教育公平做出努力。
Building a harmonious society is a great mission of our Party. Compulsory education has basic and guiding characteristics of overall importance. Compulsory educational fairness is the precondition of social fairness. Its fairness not only influences the performance of national education system, but also concerns the building of socialist harmonious society. The government should provide corresponding public service to promote compulsory educational fairness.
