摘要
本文结合岩土工程实践,论述了科学的涵义和工程师的科技品格;力学和地质学是岩土工程的科学内涵,探测、软件和施工是岩土工程的技术支撑;岩土工程不能只依靠经验,必须有理论指导;讨论了科学方法在岩土工程中的应用;介绍了环境岩土工程的新科技;论述了复杂的理论只有简化才能普及,但又不能走向简单化。通篇结合岩土工程实例说明。
Based on the practice of geotechnical engineering, the meaning of science and the technical quality of engineers are expounded. The mechanics and geology are the scientific meaning of geotechnical engineering and the exploration, software and construction are the technical supports for geotechnical engineering. Geotechnical engineering depends not only on experience but also on theoretical instruction. The application of scientific methods to geotechnical engineering is discussed, and the new science and technology about environmental geotechnical engineering are introduced. It is stated that the complicated theory can not be spread until it becomes simple.
