A finite Volume numerical method is presented for simulating the two-dimensional internal particulate-liquid two-phase turbulent flows through a centrifugal pump impeller,in which a mesh in body-fitted coordinates is generated for the computation. In detail,the SIMPLEC algorithm is utilized for solving equations of incompressible viscous/turbulent flows through the impeller. The k-ε-Ap two-phase turbulence model is adopted to describe the turbulent flow process. Some worthwhile simulated results are presented. The slip velocity distribution between particle and fluid is helpful to understand the interaction andcorrelation of the two phase.
