Based on the great deal of compressor performance characteristics data and theoretical analyses, the mathematical statistic method is used to present a description of an axial compressor model used for compressor map generation and gas turbine off-design performance prediction. This model is demonstrated by two examples and the resulting compressor maps are in good qualitative agreement with published maps.
