Over-All Stability of Coupled Shear Walls with Step Changes in Thickness

摘要 本文以功能概念解算联肢剪力墙濒临整体失稳时的近似临界荷载。为了便于运用、制有计算用表。对于墙厚不变、或有若干次突变的情况,均可应用。墙厚不变时所得到的结果与Rosman[1]的结果相差无几。文末有算例。 The expression of the approximate critical load corresponding to the state verging on unstability of coupled shear walls in terms of angular displacements is found by the energy principle. Values required to compute these angular displacements are listed in a table. The present method is rather simple and can be applied to walls with or without changes in thickness. Numerical examples are given at the end of the paper.
