基于有条件ARQ分层编码的视频传输

Video transmission based on layered coding and conditional ARQ

摘要 分层编码的基本层视频流如果受到损伤,将严重影响重建的视频质量,通常采用ARQ技术对基本层视频流进行保护,但是在信道状况恶劣时,大量的重传会影响系统的实时性。提出一种有条件ARQ分层编码方法,根据解码端错误掩盖后的视频损失量,决定是否需要采用ARQ技术重传受损的基本层视频。仿真结果显示该方案不但可以有效增强BL层视频包的抗差错能力,而且减少重传次数,大大降低由于完全采用ARQ所带来的系统延迟,提高视频传输的实时性。 During implement layered coding, if the video streaming of basic level was damaged, this will affect the video quality of reconstruction seriously. Therefore, usually adoption ARQ technology to protect the video streaming of basic level. But if the channel is bad, a great number of retransmissions will affect system transmission of real time. Proposed one kind error-resilience algorithm combined conditional ARQ with layered coding. Through calculates video loss quantity after error concealment at the decoding end, decided whether need to use ARQ technology retransmitting damage video package of basic level. The simulation result demonstrated that this strategy not only effectively improve the wireless video quality, moreover reduces greatly system delay because of using the ARQ technology completely.
