Some Properties on NBUE Class of Life Distributions

摘要进一步研究了NBUE寿命分布类的性质,给出了NBUE寿命分布类的几个等价刻画.另外,基于NBUE类的特征,作者考虑了NBUE类在可靠性与寿命检验中的应用. A characterization of the NBUE （new better than used in expectation） class of life distributions with absolutely continuous distribution functions is introduced. In effect, a life distribution is NBUE if and only if it is stochastically larger than the equilibrium distribution of the residual life in the renewal process with such an underlying distribution. Based on this characterization, some applications in reliability and life testing are proposed.
