Image quality evaluation method based on local self-similarity

摘要 使用图像所包含的一种更本质和深层的特征———局部自相似性,并结合人眼观察图像时注意力由中央向周围递减这一特性,提出了一种基于局部自相似性的图像质量度量方法。通过与已有方法的对比实验表明,该方法能对不同类型的失真图像进行更有效的评判,评价结果能够更好地符合人眼主观视觉特性。 A novel image quality evaluation method was presented. It was based on the local self-similarity, a more essential and inner feature of images, and the fact that the attraction of people on images decreased from center to margin. Experiment results compared with those of former methods indicate that the proposed method provides a more effective judgment for different types of distorted images and better consistency with human's visual characteristics.
