摘要
传统的三级低频方波电子镇流器在驱动小功率金卤灯时,往往存在难以快速启动或者无法启动的问题。基于金卤灯的快速启动要求,提出了一种优化的控制电路,大大提高了灯瞬时启动的概率。理论分析和一个70W金卤灯的实验结果同时验证了该控制电路的有效性。
Small-wattage Metal Halide (MH) lamps often have trouble in lightening instantly by using the conventional three-stage low-frequent square wave electronic ballast. Based on the special start-up characteristic of MH lamps,this paper presents some optimized control designs for the instant start-up of low wattage MH lamps.The novel control strategy greatly increases the probability for lamps to successfully lighten instantly.A prototype of 70W electronic ballast with the new control designs is constructed,and the experiment waveforms are provided as well.Finally, experimental results verify the analytical discussion.
