摘要
本文通过中西科学传统和情报学研究的对比考察，认为我国情报学研究有待摆脱只重实际而轻视思辩的历史传统，要避免扬汤止沸式的研究，加强对抽象系统理论建设的自觉性，才会有理论超前，才能扩充理论对实践指导的容量。
From the viewpoint of comparasion of the science tradition and the study of information science at home with that abroad, this paper expounds the following points of view: The study off information science of our country should extricate oneself from the historical tradition, that only lays particular stress on practise and makes light of thinking; we ought to strengthen the study of abstract theory for even more extensive guiding the practise.
