摘要
本文根据马克思主义观点论述了图书馆与生产力的关系，认为“图书馆是生产力”的命题是不能成立的。图书馆是社会的文化事业，属于社会的精神文明建设系列，把图书馆直接等同于生产力在理论上是不正确的，只能导致生产力概念的泛化和庸俗化。
According to the Marxist Viewpoint, the authors expound the relationship between library and the productive forces and holtl that the argument of library is the Produtive Forces is untenable. library is a item of social cultual undertaking, belong to the system of mental social civilied construction. The view of direct equalization between them isn`t in line with the theory which may lead to the commonality and vulgarization of the productive forces concept.
